On the marriage of a boy or a girl, their mother sends an invitation to their parents, then they get some gifts according to their economic status. Brothers bring gifts to the marriage of their sister’s children ie nephews. This is considered a great virtue. But many times people spend so much money that it becomes a topic of discussion in the society. Something similar was done by a person in Nagaur district of Rajasthan. The bride’s maternal grandfather and uncle reached the Mayra ceremony with gifts worth Rs 3 crore. It contained Rs 80 lakh in cash, jewellery, land papers, and much more. Everyone was surprised to see this.
Its picture is also becoming fiercely viral on social media. According to media reports, the matter pertains to Burdi village of Deh tehsil of Nagaur district. Anushka, daughter of Ghevari Devi and Bhanwarlal Potaliya, got married here on Wednesday. The ceremony was grand but the most talked about was Myra Ceremony. When Anushka’s maternal uncle Bhanwarlal Garva reached Anushka’s house with his three sons Harendra, Rameshwar and Rajendra.
